👋 Hey Beautiful Sisters,
I pray this letter finds you well and blessed.
Lately, I have been juggling life the best way possible and found myself talking recklessly—not bad, just careless words.
The other day, I was talking to an individual, and as soon as I departed, the Holy Spirit convicted me about the power of my words. I received His correction and repented. That's the beauty of God's mercy and forgiveness.
He gently whispered, "Your words matter."
Whether whispered in prayer, spoken to others, or echoed in your heart, every syllable has creative power.
Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”That means what we say not only affects others—it shapes our atmosphere, our families, our friends, and even our future.
Let’s take a fresh look at the vitality of our words this week and ask: Are my words building up or breaking down? Am I speaking faith or feeding fear? Am I using my words recklessly, or am I attentional with my words?
We must be vessels of life, hope, encouragement, and blessing to everyone we encounter. Even for those who wronged us and mistreated us, we must speak love, forgiveness, mercy, and life.
Jesus never started a gossip session or a breakdown session over anyone who mistreated Him. He forgave and spoke life, healing, and peace. Let us use Him as our greatest example to live by.
This week, I would like for you to meditate on these verses:
Proverbs 18:21 – “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…”
Ephesians 4:29 – “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification...”
Proverbs 15:4 – “A wholesome tongue is a tree of life…”
It's important to meditate, not just memorize or read here and there. Meditation will allow you to get these scriptures into your heart, which is your production center. That's where your motive lies and your actions come from. The more you meditate, the more you manifest the things you meditate on. (That's just a side note lol)
Here are two powerful quotes:
"Words are free. It's how you use them that may cost you everything." – Unknown
"Speak what you seek until you see what you said." – Unknown
This Week’s To-Do Assignments:
Read My Daily Social Media Posts—they are all about the power of our words, which will aid the transformation process. Share them, and comment on them.
Take a WORD Inventory – Keep a journal for 3 days. Write down statements you say about yourself, others, and your circumstances. Are they life-giving?
Speak Life Challenge – Each day, intentionally speak 3 life-affirming declarations over yourself. Example:
“I am called, appointed, and anointed by God.”
“God’s plans for me are good.”
“I walk by faith and not by sight.”
"I am not easily offended, and I walk in forgiveness at all times."
Encourage Another Woman – Call or text someone and speak a word of blessing, truth, or gratitude over them.
Prayer:
Father God, thank You for the power of words. Help me to speak life over myself, my family, and every situation. Let my tongue be a vessel of encouragement, truth, and love. Teach me to pause before I speak, to filter my words through Your Spirit, and to build others up as I glorify You. I declare that my mouth will bless and not curse, heal and not harm, bring clarity and not confusion. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
My prayer for us all is that others will hear and see Christ through us.
Love you all!!!
Have a wonderful rest of your week!
